Filled with all the fullness of the spirit of God

FILLED WITH ALL HIS FULLNESS .

_*And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be FILLED WITH ALL THE FULNESS OF GOD (Ephesians 3:19).*_

Real and authentic Christianity is being filled with the fullness of God. Apart from His extraordinary birth, what made Jesus different from every other prophet that came before Him was the Holy Spirit in Him; that made Him the Christ. Some people say that “Christ” merely means the anointed one. Well, there’s a different sense to this. We know the prophets of old were also anointed: Joshua, Moses, David, Elisha, Samuel, Aaron, and several other prophets in the Old Testament. Howbeit, they had the Spirit in a measure.

What made the difference for Jesus is that He had the Spirit without measure; He had the fullness of the Spirit. John 3:34 says, _*“For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.”*_ The prophets were all given the Spirit by measure. For instance, the Bible tells us about Joshua: _*“And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him…”*_ (Deuteronomy 34:9). Moses did that because God asked him to lay his hands on Joshua.

However, in the case of Jesus, He was filled with God. He didn’t just have the Spirit of wisdom, He was wisdom personified. The man, Christ Jesus, was filled with the fullness of God, letting us know that we can also be filled with the fullness of God, for as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). The Bible says, _*“For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently”*_ (Colossians 1:19 AMPC).

Colossians 2:10 says, _*“And ye are complete in him….”*_ You’re complete in the One in whom the sum total of the divine perfection, powers and attributes permanently dwells. What a blessed reality! It means Christ has found a resting place in you. Everything you require in life is within you. You carry the maximum load of God! Therefore, face life with the consciousness of a victor. You can do anything. Hallelujah!

*CONFESSION*

*Dear Father, I thank you, for I have received the Spirit without measure, because as Jesus is, so am I in this world. I’m filled with the fullness of God; therefore, nothing is impossible to me. I face life with the consciousness of a victor. I can do anything, because my sufficiency is of God. Hallelujah!*

You Must Control Your Thoughts part 2

Topic: Control Your Thoughts

Control your thoughts to control your life

Letting loose of your thought is letting loose of your life.

Letting any kind of thought in your mind is letting go of your life.

“keep your heart with all diligence…” (Prov 4:23)

He that hath no rule over his own spirit (mind) is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” – Prov 25:28

It's a terrible Thing to waste your Mind

In all that you do, get a stronghold on your mind, for out of it flows the very essence of life.

Today’s Scripture: Matthew 15:17-19

Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

Jeff Roth tells the following tale: There once was a man who sought fame and fortune. He specifically decided to make his reputation as a spiritual teacher. He began by travelling from retreat to retreat, monastery to monastery. He checked out all the spiritual traditions, old and new. But as the years went by, he became increasingly unhappy. He was no closer to his goal of being a great teacher, and became quite depressed.

One day, on his way to a gathering, he found himself in a beautiful forest. He sat down under a magnificent tree and began to reflect on where his lust had taken him. He began to look around. He noticed the bright colours and the tranquillity that surrounded him. “This is a beautiful place,” he thought to himself. “Wouldn’t it be great if I could just live here forever?” No sooner had he thought this did a house emerge in a clearing not too far from the tree. “Wow!” he thought, pondering the strange occurrence. He sat happily a while longer and naturally he began to get hungry. “Wouldn’t it be great to have a bite to eat?” he thought. Immediately a table appeared in front of his house, filled with his favourite foods. He began to adjust himself to these mysterious occurrences, and started thinking about how nice it would be to have someone serve him the food. Just then a servant came out of the house and piled a tray with the food and brought it over to him. He thought that this was the perfect situation. “All I need now is a partner to share this life with me.” As you might expect, the door of the house opened and out came the perfect gendered person for him, and he instantly fell in love. The man continued to think that this was a strange set of occurrences. Then the thought entered his mind that perhaps all of these experiences had to do with the tree he was sitting under. “What if it’s a magic tree?” he thought. “What if there is a demon in this tree?” Suddenly, a demon jumped out of the tree and landed in front of him. Frightened beyond belief he thought, “What if it eats me up?” And it did. And that is where the story ends.

The story, fictional of course, no less underscores the power of thoughts. The truth is, we are the sum total of our thoughts. And this one truth is too profound to be trivialised by our familiarity with it.

Thoughts are powerful because they influence our actions, and set the course of our lives. Jesus put it this way: “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.  These are the things which defile a man…” (Matthew 15:19-20). In other words, a man who thinks of murder and adultery will eventually commit them. And before a man gives a false testimony or slanders another, he first conceives it in his thoughts.

It was Norman Vincent Peale who said, “Change the thoughts of a man, he will change the world.” Your victory never starts from the outside; it emanates from the inside. No wonder the Bible enjoins us to guard our hearts like our life depends on it, because it does.

Today, consider what you think about. Refuse to allow unwholesome thoughts control your actions. Fill your heart with the Word of God. As you proceed to take active control of your meditations today, God will flood your spirit with instructions and solutions to problems. You will not be controlled by worry, fear or doubt. Stand victorious in every area of life, in Jesus’ name. Keep vigil over your mind.

Memorise & Meditate:

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

Prayer/Confession:

Father, I ask You for the grace to keep my heart with all diligence and meditate on Your Word diligently. My thoughts are in alignment with God’s Will at all times, in Jesus’ name.

Power through the Spirit

POWER THROUGH THE SPIRIT.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Some Christians assume and believe that prayer produces power. So, they say, “a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian,” but that’s not stated anywhere in the Bible.

Notice our theme scripture; Jesus didn’t say you’ll receive power after you’ve prayed. I believe in prayer, but prayer doesn’t bring power. Power comes from the Holy Ghost.

Power is the dynamic ability to cause changes. That means we can effect changes in our lives and that of our loved ones, and even in places where we desire to see changes. We’re not supposed to be victims in the earth, but many Christians live as victims; they’re captives of adverse circumstances. But Jesus said you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Jesus was never a victim, yet many of God’s children have been victims in one way or the other.

1 John 3:2 says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” When you were born again, you were born as an offspring of God; through the Holy Spirit, you have power. No need to ask Him for power, for the power is already resident in you. All you need to do for the power of God in you to be manifested is to stir it up (2 Timothy 1:6). Glory to God!

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the power at work in me, through the Holy Spirit. Nothing is impossible for me, because as I activate the power in me, I bring calmness and order to every situation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Calming Stormy Seas

CALMING STORMY SEAS
TEXT: MARK 4:39).

BIBLE TEXT:
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm(Mark 4:39).

Tempest or storm stands for heart-breaking and life threatening problem situations. It could be illness, financial and material hardships, temptations or persecutions. When there is an experienced sailor or captain in a ship, the passengers and crew members are at peace. The presence of the Master of all situations in the ship of the disciples changed their stormy situation from calamity to calmness. All you need do is to call on Him. Melancthon said, Troubles and perplexity drive us to prayer, and prayer driveth away troubles and perplexity.

What are the stormy situations in your life? Let the Master of the oceans and seas, Jesus Christ, come into your life. He is the one that can bring calmness. He is the one that can turn your sorrow into joy. His presence is indispensable in your life if you want to overcome the stormy seas of life. Lazarus sad funeral ceremonies turned into joyful celebration because Mary and Martha had sent for Jesus. Call on Jesus and He will calm your fears.

Challenge: Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go.
Prayer: I command calmness to every storm in my life in Jesus name!
Quote: Call on Jesus and He will calm your fears

There is power in relationship with God and Man

THERE IS POWER IN RELATIONSHIP

Categories: Daily Meditations on God's Word

“So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” Romans 12:5

If only we are able to perceive the ability and strength in relationship and not permit the enemy divide our strength and make us dissipate our energy and fireworks, we are going to go terribly far in life. See your life as a life that God needs to use to place smile on somebody’s face. return to church not with the outlook of what am i able to get, but to join forces with God to meet his purpose. the reality is that after you begin to measure that approach, there's no level of blessing that you just cannot attain because God will definitely make sure that you're blessed in each area of your life.

When we mention what you'll offer, it's not solely regarding cash. It may well be a smile, a handshake, a pat on the back or a compliment. “You look very nice wearing this dress of yours. You look stunning.

I anticipate seeing  you and i am glad to see you” simple statements which will raise up somebody’s religion or motivate healing. merely saying: “I haven't seen you for the past one week, where have you been”? can make individuals recognize that somebody is looking out for them
Relationship is the whole essence of Christianity. He gave some Apostles, some Evangelists, some Prophets, some Pastors, some lecturers, for the maturing of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the enlightening of the body of Christ until we have a tendency to all come back to the unity of religion and therefore the information of the Son of God, unto an ideal man and of the stature of the fullness of Christ. That we have a tendency to hence forth be no longer like  a lot of kids fighting over akara or seat, who is promoted or not, who is complimented or not. who is sitting within the front seat or not. lots of kids, tossed to and fro by each wind of doctrine…. however speaking the reality in love. A DOUBLE LIFE DOUBLES YOUR SORROWS

A DOUBLE LIFE DOUBLES YOUR SORROWS
PSALM 51:1-19
A former British royal Air force employee has returned a history book to the Malta public library 42 years after he borrowed it and he was rewarded with a cup of coffee. Emie Roscouet, a resident of the channel Islands, packed the book when he left Malta in June 1962 and returned it when his wife gave him a holiday to Malta as his 60th birthday present. He said, “My conscience pricked me all the time and I decided to restitute.” He was actually expecting a fine, but instead he was given a cup of coffee to encourage others to return overdue books.

Proverbs 11:1 says “a false balance is an abomination unto God, but a just weight is his delight.” Try and make your life and daily activities just and right. Return whatever does not belong to you. Pay back whatever you owe. Work for your pay. Stop wasting your official hours, pay your employees, your prosperity is tied to your living right. Don’t allow the devil to lay hold on whatever he can to hinder your prayers and the work of God.

Your success is tied to your character, because your enemy the devil is a formidable accuser looking for every loophole to block you from prospering. Living a double life will slow down your progress by half and double your sorrows. Fight to retain a good name. John Morely said, “no man can climb beyond the limitations of his character. Gehazi’s character limited him.

Pursue good daily wherever you. Evangelize your character before seeking for charisma. Philip Brooks  said, “a man who lives right and is right, has more power in his silence than another has by his words.” Drop that wrong relationship. Live so that your friends can defend you, but never have to do so. Do not forget that without holiness, no man can see God. It is hard to climb high when your character is in question.
Prayer
Lord, purge my character to shine as your light as I go out every day of my life, Amen
